【报告摘要】：Image segmentation and registration are always challenging tasks in image processing. In this talk, we will discuss two kinds of variational PDE models. One is concerned a region inhomogeneity active contour which is to quantify intensity inhomogeneity and convert it to be a useful feature to improve the segmentation results. Another one is a BD function based registration algorithm which is formulated in a variational framework by supposing the displacement field to be a function of bounded deformation. The numerical experiments indicate that the proposed models perform well than the related state-of-art models.

【报告人简介】：杨孝平，南京大学特聘教授，博士生导师。1992年获理学博士学位。“国家级教学名师”，国家“五一劳动奖章”获得者，江苏省数学会副理事长，江苏省工业与应用数学会副理事长，教育部数学基础课程教学指导分委员会委员。长期从事偏微分方程，基于数学方法的图像处理模型、理论和算法的研究，在国内外学术刊物上发表学术论文100多篇。主持了省、部级科研基金和国家自然科学基金项目多项。
