应数学系杨畅博士和002全讯白菜网国际合作处邀请,法国马赛大学Michel Mehrenberger教授于2019年1月13日至1月19日访问002全讯白菜网数学系。Mehrenberger教授的研究方向包括Vlasov方程的数值求解方法,半拉格郎日方法,等离子体物理的数值模拟,多尺度问题的数值求解等。他参与核聚变ITER项目在欧洲的研究课题,该项目将为人类解决未来能源危机找到新的希望。

系列讲座的摘要如下:
In this short course, we consider the Vlasov-Poisson equations and its numerical approximation. In order to check the validity of the numerical solution a common tool is to study the dispersion relation which consists in comparing the solution with a «formula » coming from the the study of the first order linearized Vlasov-Poisson equation. We focus here on the extension of this methodology to the second order case. This a joint work with Joackim Bernier (University of Rennes, France).
