应数学系田波平教授邀请，美国印第安纳大学南本德分校关忠教授访问数学系并作报告。关忠教授于2017年7月17日 下午14:00--17:00和2017年7月19日 上午9:00--12:00分别在格物楼503和正心楼111报告厅，分别作了：Optimal Combination of Biomarkers for Time-dependent ROC Estimation and Related Problems、Introduction to Bernstein polynomial and iterated Bernstein polynomial、Polynomial with positive coefficients--another generalization of Bernstein polynomial和Multivariate polynomial with positive coefficients and it's applications in statistics的四个报告。报告由田波平教授主持，数学系10余位师生听取了报告，并进行了热烈的讨论。
