Professor Yu-Hong Dai at the Chinese Academy of Sciences will organize the 2016 International Workshop on Modern Optimization and Applications (MOA 2016). The goal of the workshop is to bring together leading scientists, researchers, and practitioners from world to exchange and share ideas and approaches in using modern optimization techniques to model and solve real-world application problems from engineering, industry, and management. A prominent feature of MOA 2016 is the mixture of optimization theory, optimization methods, and practice of mathematical optimization. The workshop will take place in Beijing, June 27--29, 2016.
