时间:10月23日 下午2:30-5:00 地点:格物楼503 报告一(2:30-3:30): A Lotka–Volterra competition model with seasonal succession Abstract: A complete classification for the global dynamics of a Lotka–Volterra two species competition model with seasonal succession is obtained via the stability analysis of equilibria and the theory of monotone dynamical systems. The effects of two death rates in the bad season and the proportion of the good season on the competition outcomes are also discussed. 报告二(4:00-5:00): Title: The principal eigenvalue of partially degenerate elliptic systems Abstract: It is known that the solution maps of a linear and partially degenerate parabolic system are not compact due to the lack of diffusion terms in some equations. Thus, one cannot obtain the existence of the principal eigenvalue for the associated eigenvalue problem by using the celebrated Krein-Rutman theorem. In this talk, I will report our recent research on the principal eigenvalue of such a linear system and its applications. |
